More than 107,000 Kyiv residents were left without electricity, and nearly 2,600 buildings were without heat following damage to critical infrastructure.
At least nine missiles and 19 drones struck 13 locations, with debris falling in 14 additional areas. President Volodymyr Zelensky said the primary target was Ukraineβs energy infrastructure, including power generation facilities and substations.
The assault included 24 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles, one Kh-59/69 guided air missile, and 219 drones. Ukrainian air defenses reported intercepting 213 aerial targets.
Overnight on February 12, Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine, targeting Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Odesa, according to Ukraineβs Air Force.
