If someone is going out of their way to deliver something to you, itβs only fair to tip them. If you donβt want to do that you can go pick it up yourself

Thatβs right, dude.
Itβs day 95 of the ICE occupation of MN.
This weekend, Minneapolis is waiting to see if Jacob Frey will sign the Pause Evictions, Save Lives policy passed by the City Council.
The mutual aid fundraising has been enormous, but the needs continue, even as donations have slowed.
Call the mayor!

This was just mentioned, first I had heard about it. 110 songs from Minnesota artists, and money raised goes to mutual aid efforts. It's bandcamp Friday and your dollars will go even further today!

Joke's on the economy I already don't have a job
Months of work and millions of dollars raised by thousands of our residents to help keep people in their homes comes down to the signature of one person. Weβre calling on Mayor Frey to sign Pause Evictions, Save Lives. This policy temporarily gives residents 30 more days to help prevent evictions.
(from what I shared)
Minneapolis should be modeling to other cities what it means to show up for each other. We've seen that in people-powered mutual aid work, but the city can and must take action at a larger scale. "Pause Evictions, Save Lives" is smart policy. It is also the right thing to do.
move slow and repair things
Iβve lived all over these United States and can concretely say that Minneapolis is objectively the best city πππ
ΒΏPor que no los dos?
Thereβs a lot to unpack here
Sounds too tasty for a name like that
Honestly if youβre sending a robot to run terraform destroy, that damage is on you. Humans canβt even run that thing without disastrous consequences. Thatβs what you get for running with scissors
Apparently, Frey's resistance to ICE ends when landlords are impacted.
The Mayor has until Wednesday to change his mind.
Take a moment to tell him to sign Pause Evictions, Save Lives, and help keep our neighbors housed as we continue the real fight to protect residents. Call 612-673-2100 today!

A stack of stickers in the style of a Neighborhood Watch sign, but the bottom says "If I don't tell the Signal chat my neighbor will", sitting on a desk next to an iPods Pro case.
Neighborhood Watch stickers are in hand! Want one?
For every $10 you donate to standwithminnesota.com I will send you one!
DM me a screenshot and an address where I can send them. Don't want to send your address? No problem, DM me and let's figure something out.
They are still kidnapping our neighbors.
Abolish ICE.
Thatβs fair. I donβt make fun of her for doing it per se; I think of it more like when the menswear guy makes fun of peopleβs choices in ugly shoes
