Still looking for a job. I'm leaning to things like intersection of native and JavaScript, runtimes, developer tooling, browsers, WebAssembly, web security.

Weโ€™re in the discovery phase to #FreeJavaScript from Oracle: depositions, surveys, evidence, expert testimony. Costly, but vital to protect "JavaScript" for all.

Help us put forward the strongest case possible๐Ÿ‘‡

This year, Iโ€™ve started practicing scratching again. But unexpectedly, Iโ€™ve also started doing something I had almost forgotten โ€” writing poetry. At first, it felt like a joke, but it turns out I really enjoy it.

Goodbye WinterCG, welcome WinterTC WinterCG, the Web Interoperable Runtimes Community Group is moving to ECMA as TC55 to be able to publish standards.

Deno is committed to web standards - that's why we co-founded WinterCG two years ago. Today marks the next step in that journey: WinterCG moves to Ecma International as technical comittee 55 (TC55).

Goodbye WinterCG, welcome WinterTC!

#FreeJavaScript update: Oracle has informed us they wonโ€™t voluntarily withdraw their trademark on "JavaScript". Next: theyโ€™ll file their Answer and weโ€™ll start discovery to show how "JavaScript" is widely recognized as a generic term and not controlled by Oracle.

All the VR glasses Iโ€™ve tried are useless. The only really useful and great stuff is Ray Ban Meta glasses. And they are working on Live Translation feature now! I wish other companies do the same stuff but better integrated with 3rd party apps

Deno v. Oracle: Canceling the JavaScript Trademark Oracle is holding the JavaScript trademark hostage, and weโ€™re pursuing legal means to #FreeJavaScript. Hereโ€™s a brief update.

It's done. Now itโ€™s your turn, Oracle.

Weโ€™ve submitted a formal petition to cancel the JavaScript trademark: it is generic, Oracle has abandoned it, and Oracle committed fraud on the USPTO during the last trademark renewal.

It's time to #FreeJavaScript.
