Yeah. But itβs crazy to think it could be real, right?

Not a real fed Press Sec but watched she/her on TV and said βHey, I can do that, but with facts.β When in doubt, refer to the First Amendment and The AP Stylebook, in that order. Verified #AltGov. ποΈ πΊπΈ #AltGov #AltFam
Yeah. But itβs crazy to think it could be real, right?
The White House will later today announce that Speaker of the House Mike Johnson will also serve as the Director of Legislative Affairs. βMike is so SMART and TUFF (sic) and Loyal,β said the Sharpie-in-Chief. βI gave Mike a deadline and a BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL and said DO THIS FOR ME. And he did it.β
Seth: Do you think that thereβs a chance these protests will be effective?
Me: No doubt about it.
This #scotus ruling makes us sad for all the bright, curious children who love learning and will have their exploration cut off by the biases of others.
Our hearts break for the mental health impacts that young queer people will feel as they try to figure themselves out and are made to feel lesser.
WH presser shifted from SCOTUS decisions but bizarre ramblings w/no basis in fact continue. Claims that tariffs brought in βhundreds of millions of dollarsβ just donβt add up. Threats and chaos loom large but most countriesβ tariffs still on hold, delayed, or w/drawn.

Speaking of whichβ¦ the Regimeβs presser is an embarrassing display of bravado & full-blown misinformation at work.
They are claiming a victory that has not yet been won.
Not one federal judge has come close to validating the Regimeβs substantive position on eliminating birthright citizen.
With Trump v CASA, SCOTUS handed the Regime a first downβ¦ maybe even a TD. But weβre a long way from the final whistle, folks. Stretch your legs, grab a snack, & reapply that sunscreen.
Whatever you do, donβt give away the win! The fight to protect birthright citizenship is far from over. #SCOTUS
Dissenting justices in Trump v. CASA sounding the alarm.
- Justice Sotomayor issues sharply worded dissent from the bench, calling out threats to other constitutionally protected rights.
- Justice Jackson, in her own dissent, calls majority ruling βan existential threat to the rule of law.β #SCOTUS
SCOTUSβ last day of the 2024-25 term is underway. Buckle up Buttercups! A 6-3 decision in Trump v. CASA limits nationwide injunctions & sidesteps any resolution to the merits of Trumpβs EO challenging the fundamental elements of birthright citizenship. (π article)

Exercising our rights to free speech should never be met with retaliatory attacks by federal agents.

Ooh! Peanut butter (creamy, not crunchy).
What if I already communicate with both (as my children and dogs will both attest)? Although, itβs not so much eye blinks as eye flutters with a combination eye roll.
Ok, then. Assuming weβre going for Latin alphabet? My Cyrillic and Greek alphabet knowledge isβ¦ wellβ¦ Iβd combine b and g but have them stacked. Juneteenth is a reminder of how far weβve come, and how far we still have to go. Today, weβre once more committing ourselves to the work of ending systemic oppression of Black people in America. Weβre not free until everyone is free.
In honor of 1865 #emancipation of enslaved people in USA who struggled for equality and #freedom. Iβm grateful for the federal holiday in recognition of this momentous event although personally feel I should be working and that all Black Americans should enjoy a paid day off insteadπ #juneteenth
On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrowβs light.
