And this is really important to me in studying meteorology. It's easy to just explain something, but I don't know what I'm looking at to reference the explanation. Weather soundings have notoriously annoying to look at resources that don't really explain things visually. :(

Something I've noticed is I learn a lot better when someone or a teacher shows what something looks like, describes what it looks like and why it looks like that, then explains what it is and does afterwards. Knowing what to look for first is important to me.
