Well that gives him a nice off ramp - when I decide they have surrendered even if they havenβt.
Zero condemnation of Isreal bombing a school killing over 100 children. Disgusting.
So much for that Davos speech.
This is a wild thing to say when Isreal is committing a genocide.
Bombing a school for little girls should end the nuclear program how? I am so ashamed of our foreign policy.
Solutions like UBI make Canada more resilient to US economic warfare. They dampen the effect of tariffs and businesses pulling out of Canada.
We will not beat the US by playing their games, we beat them by rebuilding our society into one that cares for people.
The High Court has confirmed what we all knew: proscribing Palestine Action was unlawful.
The state must stop using βcounter-terrorβ powers to criminalise solidarity and intimidate working-class people out of protest.
The Labour government must lift the proscription now and drop every case NOW.
Bruce Fanjoy: Statement Regarding the Return to Office Policy February 9*, 2026 On February 5th, 2026, the federal government announced an updated Return-to-Office (RTO) policy for federal public servants. Today, I am calling upon the government to reconsider this policy for the following reasons: 1. The new RTO policy makes it harder to achieve the government's priorities of reducing the operating cost of government, improving affordability, and respecting the environment. Instead, it will cost both the government and citizens more and increase pollution. 2. There is little to no evidence that a one-size-fits-all RTO policy will improve productivity or service to Canadians. 3. The RTO policy makes it harder for public servants to balance work with other responsibilities. I believe Canada is better served by a hybrid model that balances a mix of in-office and remote work. The right balance is flexible and depends on circumstances. Done well, a hybrid model reduces the cost of government and benefits workers and all Canadians. To my constituents in Carleton, I hear you. I will continue to press for solutions that work for you and all Canadians. Sincerely, Bruce Fanjoy Member of Parliament for Carleton
Liberal MP Bruce Fanjoy from the Ottawa-area riding or Carleton is breaking ranks with the Carney government on its Return to Office policy for public servants:
βThere is little to no evidence that a one-size-fits-all RTO policy will improve productivity or service to Canadiansβ
10!!!!!
Chances are, youβre paying too much for groceries. πΈ
Letβs take a look at whyβ and why it doesnβt have to be this way.
Watch to the end for just one of the ways the Ontario NDP will rein in these outrageous prices.
The real difference maker is UBI.
CANADA NEWS: University of Toronto Family Medicine Chair and basic income advocate Dr. Danielle Martin has been nominated to replace former Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland in upcoming Toronto by-election (University-Rosedale)
The healthcare case for guaranteed income security is overwhelming.
Over 500 people have been killed since the so-called ceasefire. Why arenβt you condemning Isreal?
Already have!
This! Senator Pateβs speech in the Senate was excellent.
Why arenβt we talking about UBI? We spend over $80b a year on these bandaid credits and programs to tackle poverty. UBI would cost way less at approximately $3b a year. What a great way to reduce
Government inefficiency and support Canadians - the most significant nation building project.
We spend $80b a year on ineffective programs to tackle
poverty in Canada. An easy way to reduce government spending and protect jobs is to implement a Universal Basic Income which is estimated to cost $3b per year. See Senator Kim Pateβs excellent speech in the Senate advocating for UBI.
Start talking about UBI - a way to reduce government spending without austerity cuts!
It would be nice if he actually said it out loud.
We shouldnβt be on it at all. The $1 billion was to extend the time frame to three years for a seat. The whole premise is vile.
That is good to know. I havenβt seen this anywhere. Can you share the source?
If we are βtaking the sign downβ why even consider joining the so called board of peace - just flat out reject it.
FLA and TX have millions of immigrants.
Turns out the real threat isnβt immigrants - itβs blue zip codes.
Why is @mark-carney.bsky.social even considering participating in this??? FFS.
Canada holds well over $350 billion in US debt. A nice substantial amount of leverage.
It is the board of ethnic cleansing. Canada should be as far away for this as possible and calling it out.
