Bobby Brink is a solid middle-sixer, but when you have as many as the Flyers currently do, it makes sense to take a swing.

Not gonna disagree with you wanting to make a playoff appearance, I’m just not sure if Risto makes much of a difference. It’s on Vladar’s play, and the team being able to score more than 3 goals in regulation
Connor Murphy went for a second round pick with salary retained, he isn’t good, but like… it’s Rasmus Ristolainen…
In this market, I find it hard to believe that Risto is worth both a first round pick and a prospect. Now, it’s always good to aim high with this stuff (that is obviously pushed out to insiders), but you can’t have an astronomical price on a guy with his limitations and injury history.
