I encourage everyone to arbitrarily choose one piece (πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ) of art during your endless scroll to just stop at and look over the details more in depth. You will be impressed by how much you see and how much more you enjoy it.

I just finished updating the latest version of Chords with Vic's Sega CD Fusion Driver. It's now doing both streaming PCM speech and background music and it seems pretty good if you ask me. More devs should really use this! #gamedev #indiedev #sega #segagenesis #megadrive

I watched this video last night and I thought it was extremely well done. A lot of things you mentioned in your video are things I lived by prior to watching, and it felt nice seeing someone else feel the same. Creativity is my lifeblood. Your content is always so genuine and it means a lot to me.

I've been working on this project for the past few weeks, but I'm scared to share more and make any promises because I worry I'll lose all my motivation and completely abandon it like everything else.

...but if I somehow keep at it then stay tuned I guess?

In today's message I teach how you can shut down negative thoughts. You are not your thoughts, you are the awareness of them. Don't give any of these thoughts authenticity, they are not you. I hope today's message helps you to release these thoughts and create a healthier mindset. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

job where you take numbers from a known location in a database, run them through a known mathematical formula on a calculator because IT doesn't let you use Excel, let alone a python script, and then copy that number back into another database: we're embracing technology. use copilot.

Chameleo Arm from Kirby Super Star. A cartoon chameleon curls up. Its anatomy differs from a usual chameleon. It has two extendable legs with two big claws at the end of each leg. It has a set of one horn and two feathers emerging from the back of its head. It has spikes going down its back and rectangular stripes. It has a big circular eye. It extends itself and its big shiny eye looks up.

Tumblr user nocryptographer:
I talked with someone who works in book publishing, and they mentioned they get a lot of AI slop these days. I asked how they know what's human-written, and they said that there's one thing that will reveal AI slop without error, and that's the author not knowing their own creation.
A real author can talk about their story for hours. They love to elaborate every character, every twist, every detail. Because those existed in their head long before they ever made it to the paper. They were loved before they were written.
AI slop wasn't. It was just vomited into existence.
Someone who generates their story with AI will never bond with their story the way real writers do. That's why they may not know what to say when they're asked why did the character do this, or even remember the scene in the first place. It's something they read, not something they wrote. And to a writer, those are not the same.
There's a unique bond between the creator and the creation. If your writing doesn't come of you, you'll always lack that.
I keep hearing soon we won't be able to tell. And perhaps, in a superficial sense, that's true. But there is a difference. It's not em dashes or repeated words. It's whether the story was made by someone who loves it and cares about it.
If the writer's eyes light up when asked why did the character do that? and they start their very own Ted Talk about that specific scene...
then it's real.
