Yep, and instead he was a dick to Charlotte, which is a risk with any interviewer, but she is one of the best in the business so she's very skilfully hung him out to dry. And it serves him right.
This is a brilliant interview from Charlotte Edwardes. I've always disliked Theroux and his schtick, and Edwardes has skilfully allowed him to expose himself as the prickly, manipulative arsehole I have always thought him to be.
