The message that this sends is that if you don't or can't drive then Labour does not care about you.
Hiking train and bus fares whilst keeping fuel duty frozen (so down in real terms) just reinforces that message.
At least we expected this from the Tories. I expected better. Disappointed

I love cycling. If I'm ever killed by a motorist; whether through negligence, weakness, or their own deliberate fault... I hope no one says I died doing what I loved. Instead let people say I was interrupted doing what I loved, and killed by a motorist.

I haaaaate this section. Such a shame as you’d think there’d be an easy link from the Heatons to Tesco and Reddish Vale.

Used to do it regularly, but couldn’t get up the hill with my shopping once pregnancy fatigue kicked in 😔 (imagine it puts lots of people off)

This campaign is so important. These quiet, off-road routes are vital for ensuring more people can get around by bike, but are currently a nightmare for anyone using adapted cycles, cargo bikes, pushchairs and, I'm discovering, pregnant people with bad balance and full panniers!
