So, my grandparents were visited weekly by the FBI in the '50s. Grandpa did some water & labor rights organizing + was a socialist & athiest. Got on some lists, they say. No jail time, but by the end of it gma ended up in the Oregon Hospital (the insane asylum in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest).

But legit don’t let analysis paralysis stop you. I think everyone, particularly Black women, should live out of the US at some point!

I’m re-writing a small guide about this geared to remote workers but I tell clients to ask themselves questions like “how close/far do you wanna be from family?” “What type of climate/environment? (Rural vs urban, beach vs jungle). Do you have health issues where you need to be close to hospital?
