Back then I worked at the LUSH head office, when it was on Ontario Street. We were all so excited when the River District was announced. We'd have someplace to go for lunch and a group hangout other than Oakridge Mall, Ikea in Richmond, or the damn airport! That space never materialized.

I'm starting to internalize that I am allowed to have silly fun. I fell into a trap where all of my free-time activities, no matter how enjoyable, were also in service of some personal goal, and the fun was secondary to the pursuit. It's really nice to find myself breaking that pattern.
