My statement on Secretary Noem's firing:
The newest Director of Homeland Security Markie Markwayne hiding from "tourists" on January 6th.
NEW: A conservative attorney said to be coordinating with the White House to push Donald Trump to take control of elections via executive order cited a bizarre 2020 conspiracy theory involving Michigan voting machines as the emergency that justifies the scheme.
This is the man who is now in charge of US Homeland Security.
Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.
But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.
