the basic dynamic of the "kart racer" is that skill differences pull the racers apart and items pull them back together

in Crossworlds, nothing pulls the racers apart and items shuffle them like a deck of cards constantly

makes for a wacky party game but for anything beyond that it needs changes

is Ultimate Charge too strong? are items too strong? surprisingly, no!

What's too strong is the way slipstreaming as it is now glues the entire pack together in nearly any race; you literally can't gain an advantage by driving better bc anyone behind anyone else gets so much extra speed for free
