As with the Ape Escape Originape Soundtrack, composer Soichi Terada has meticulously re-recorded and reconstructed all tracks from the Ape Escape 3 Original soundtrack.

With this album clocking in at 46 minutes itβs been begging for a 2xLP version since its inception but this is the first time itβs happening.
Side 4 features an engraved handwritten message from Roger Joseph Manning, Jr.
Fast forward to 2026 and UMe has a new Vinylphyle series that has been getting great reviews for both sound quality and packaging including @erykahbaduβs βMamaβs Gunβ that was remastered here.
Back in 2023 I remastered the two Jellyfish albums for UMG Catalog for their first ever high-resolution digital streaming release, but I didnβt have anything to do with the vinyl reissues that happened at that time.

The main issue is that certain plugin & tech companies have redefined what most people think mastering is so they can sell cheap software and false hope to people looking for a shortcut to mediocrity.
Somebody on Reddit asked me what else there is to mastering besides stereo processing as if it's some kind of secret. It's not a secret, it's just relatively boring stuff if you're into producing & mixing.
