I have a very upbeat instrumental song that's been under a working title for a long time now and I'm suddenly considering calling it "Fuck Fascism"
one of the biggest blows you can deliver to fascists is letting them know they are incapable of dimming your shine. don't get me wrong, angry protest songs are important, but i want to give people something to dance to and feel like life is still worth living.
A screenshot of a phone mock screen. There's a photograph of a cat, but its face is covered by a music player, featuring Paul Simon's face, lining up perfectly where my cat's face should be.
Put my cat on my lock screen. Did not expect something like this to happen.
A skull with its forehead and top removed, with 3 pillar candles inside it, glowing, with plenty of drippy wax
OK, maybe not the MOST proud of, but I'm really happy with this skull candelabra I made based on art by Wes Benscoter
A screenshot showing Haute & Freddy will be playing in Atlanta on June 6th.
Woohoo!
Anyone else going?
Tell me about the piece of art you created that you're most proud of

Random stpry: I was half way through Midnight Mass before my wife clued me in that you were same actor from Bly Manor.
Props on embodying those two different characters so well.
(I guess Superman would have fooled me with his Clark Kent persona π€·)
A comic drawn digitally with two panels. First panel has one black cat on the left asking a white cat on the right "so what do you do for a living?" Second panel the white cat answered with a silly face "My best?"
don't we all

Damn gluttony strikes again...
I cannot tell you how many awkward conversations I have had with co-workers about not sharing my cell number with them.
I have email and Teams on my phone. If you can't reach me via those methods, then that's on purpose.
You do you! Even if I don't happen to enjoy this one piece, you still have plenty more that's inspiring

Doctor: Ah, this is exactly what I was afraid of.
Me: Oh my God, what?
Doctor: Skeletons.
The petty part of me wants to generate 15 paragraphs of congratulations to drive home how stupid this all is.

The fur coat on Paul Simon makes this especially funny.
If you have the means, please donate to the Trans Continental Pipeline right now. They are a Colorado based org that helps trans people relocate and they are overwhelmed with requests. Colorado borders Kansas, and TCP has the infrastructure to help get people out.

This is my explanation (to myself) of why AI image generation is so alluring for some people. Put in a prompt, and get that dopamine hit of wondering what will come out the other side. Pure slot machine mechanics.
Sidenote: I read this book in just 9 days.
No, that's not impressive for normal people, but for me?! It's insanity. I basically didn't read anything through my 20s and 30s.
Something about this last year has clicked... Really enjoying it, and awkwardly proud of myself for it.
I have finished Between Two Fires and I am sad that it is over.
Really, really loved this book.
