A cancer diagnosis can change far more than just your health.

Claireβs untimely death is a powerful reminder of why this campaign matters so much. We remain fiercely committed to continuing this work, in partnership with Claireβs family and our friends at Cavendish Cymru, to make sure her legacy lives on.
Thank you, Claire, for everything.
Working alongside Claire has been a great honour for us as a charity. Her strength, warmth, and determination inspired hundreds of women to share their experiences and helped drive real change in how gynaecological cancers are understood, talked about, and addressed across Wales.
We are devastated by the death of Claire OβShea, who has passed away from gynaecological cancer at the age of 42. Our thoughts are with Claireβs loved ones, as well as all the women she touched through Claireβs Campaign.

We made three critical recommendations to improve overall oesophageal and stomach cancer survival: 1. Cancer symptom awareness campaigns. 2. Adopt and roll out innovations like the capsule sponge test, and 3. A Barrett's Oesophagus registry.
Today, clinicians and stakeholders from across Wales are in Cardiff to learn more about the capsule sponge diagnostic test. This medical innovation will allow the NHS to deliver fairer, faster cancer services for people affected by oesophageal cancer, one of the six less survivable cancers.
Could you attend a workshop in Cardiff on March 14, 11:30 β 1pm?
Researchers at Cardiff University would love your input to help develop cancer prehabilitation education packages.
