Sometimes just opening my drafts or a WIP drawing makes me tense up now. I want to get back to enjoying drawing.

But the justification for me being lashed out at was that they don't think I "understand something important to them" And it felt insulting.

FOR THE RECORD I started as a radioapple shipper. I am still a radioapple shipper.

The negativity problem isn't with the other ships.

The call is coming from inside the house.

As a multi-shipper I sit around every day listening to people make passive aggressive Snipes at some of my favourite pairings. And I have yet to crash out about it. (4/6)

It wasn't the bullies.
It wasn't random strangers online telling me I hate lesbians. It wasn't weirdos telling me I'm being acephobic. Wasn't the antis. The trolls.

It was people I considered friends lashing out at me *again* because they were mad about some pedantic complaint about Viv. (3/6)

This space is full of people who consistently complain about the negativity in this fandom driving away great artists.
They talk about how radioapple fans and chaggie fans bully us. How it sucks that ship bullying drives so many people away from 🌈🦌.(2/6)

I'm feeling frustrated and have nowhere else to put this so I'm just gonna rant into the void here.

I almost left the 🌈🦌fandom last weekend.

Because of negativity and aggression in a fan community that the mods are desperately trying to keep as a positive space. (1/6)
