The new Eden is great! So glad it came back in a new form. Birmingham would be nothing without it.

Only really to the extent that everyone was before streaming, I just never got rid of them. And have bought a few things here and there on vinyl more recently

However, I just went to listen to something and the record is missing for some reason and the CD of it is scratched to shit, so I am *having* to use Spotify. You win, the twenty-first century

I’m so grateful that weird teenage me bought loads of cheap records of classical music from charity shops, which at the time were far cheaper than CDs

I have been sitting in the park in Warwick in a T-shirt reading. It feels later in Spring for sure.

A bit disconcerting that “something went wrong” on the Strava app at the end of today’s run — is it lost in the ether forever? You’ll just have to believe me when I say it felt fast.

First book of 2026 finally finished - “Fire Island: A Queer History”. I picked it up purely by chance from a book swap shelf at a pub in Warwick just before Christmas. So glad I did!
