Great pleasure to finally meet and discuss in person with the one and only PC (what's his blue sky?)
today at @ciml.bsky.social . I hope you enjoy your time!
in the photo he looks like singing, but not, is just rocking it
PC is another great member of our @immunometeurope.bsky.social !
Congratulations Nicolas !
I just seen this and I will read in detail, but... I wonder,
what is the advantage for viruses to target the centromere proteins? they inhibit silencing machinery there? hmm π€.. is that known?
π¬ π¦ Check this great scientific meeting organized by Carolyn King and CIML's team leader Mauro Gaya.

Thanks Antonio, it was such a pleasure to share our work in your conference. ππ€
So many great talks today! to the Organizers @Nuria MartΓnez-MartΓn, @Fernando Martin Belmonte et al.

Happy to be at the Spanish "Cell Metabolism Network" conference in Madrid.
Tomorrow I will be closing the conference and sharing what we are doing at CIML sharing work of πͺ: Ro Lavignolle Heguy, Pau G GonzΓ‘lez, Raph CHAPUY & Felipe Flores SantibÑñez and @gammaomics.bsky.social
Selfie of 3 persons at a « Stand up for Science » March in the middle of a crowd of pacific demonstrator. One of the 3 persons is holding a sign that says « more labcoats and less white robes » written in French and showing an actual labcoat next to KKK white robes.
Itβs the start of a new week.
But we still want more labcoats and less white robes.
We need to keep standing up for science!

Very happy on my way to Davos to Share our latest research and developments we are doing at @ciml.bsky.social and @gammaomics.bsky.social at the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research and discuss with Milena Sokolowska, team and SIAF PIs.
++On the βοΈ next to a colleague by chance!

I have been so sick! lost the sense of smell and taste. I don't appreciate tastes but only textures in my mouth.
My father lost his sense of smell in an accident (11yo). However, He enjoys food more than average people.
How come? did he forgot what tastes good and created a new scale in his brain?
Today is the international day against childhood cancer.
To honor the 2,500 children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer each year in France, scientists from @crcm.bsky.social, @aphm-chu-marseille.bsky.social & @inp-marseille.bsky.social ran 15km this morning in Marseille to draw 2500 in GPS πͺπ»
objectively speaking, you mean..
no? π
Thanks a lot Eddy for your kind words. My pleasure to work with you, Marion and all this great community, altogether committed to help fighting Pediatric Cancers,

Why don't you make songs from your papers? and share them here? it's lots of fun :)
hahaha
it's art,
don't confuse with the rest..
Claude Bernard said:
"Art is I, Science is We"
I agree, but would rephrase:
"Art is AI, Science is We"
First π¦ post (great to join everyone here) about our paper that's been published in JACI: www.jacionline.org/article/S009...
Check it out if you have ever wondered how fungal spore growth controls how dendritic cells (clearly THE best immune cell) trigger inflammation that causes asthma...
If you want to see our work presented directly from the primary source, @julienmambu.bsky.social will be giving a free webinar on Feb 6th at 5 PM CET as part of the Thursday seminar series of the French Society of Immunology #SFI

hahah thanks Joaquin!
It was a lot of work even if AI helped a lot :)!
Which is your favourite? Video/Figure 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6?
Thanks to the @ciml.bsky.social and all our collaborators
@cnrs-dr12.bsky.social IGH, C3M..
I also want to thanks to Claude Bernard that inspired me for this post:
"Art is AI, Science is We" (Rafa J. ArgΓΌello)
I propose you do the same with your next pre-pring and letΒ΄s make scientific publications and sharing results also part of the creative process.
I can also share how I did this.. but I also let you create your own way ;)

"We hypothesized that patients with high expression levels of XBP1 target genes might resist Bortezomib more effectively. Our research in clinical trials confirmed this, predicting patient survival with bortezomibβbut not with other drugs, highlighting the specificity of our findings. "

"Stress can lead to cell death or survival. Chemotherapies like bortezomib induce ER stress"
We discovered a subpopulation of bortezomib-resistant cells that survive, reliant on IRE-1, raising questions about the role of IRE1 and XBP1 in patient survival under bortezomib treatment."
4/6 "Using SNUPR, we observed diverse cellular responses to the same stress: some cells block protein translation, others pause and recover, while some donβt stop at all. Not all induce XBP1 translocationβsome massively do.
Discover much more about their intricate interactions in our paper! π"
"Western blot and qPCR are bulk and can be tedious, so we developed SNUPR"
Think of it like flow cytometry, but for nuclei. SNUPR allows to more efficiently track transcription factor translocation, and translation without cytoplasmic interference, offering clearer, more specific results."
