Seven was portrayed here - as constantly annoyed at Janeway & the humans. This didn't have as much WTF and drama as Part I did, but it still worked. A Borg cube sacrificing itself to save Voyager was unexpected. Good SFX.

This 2020 3x live album by Maiden was one I thoroughly enjoyed. Saw the tour in '19. This was a phenomenally high quality package at a quite reasonable price. 😍the color vinyl. My thoughts here.

This was supposed to be the finale of Season 1 originally. It didn't feel like either a finale or a first episode to me. Three others from Season 1 got bumped into Season 2.

I f'ed mine up today. Mistake choice, bad score, didn't get all 9. Ah well.

Bad day on the grid for me. Score was awful (110!), didn't get all 9 Rangers (8, Koskie). Part of it was I picked a wrong name in the Adduci square, and it counted as a mistake, so that was blown. Then scores were bad. Could have faked a grid score in another browser but laid out my stinker here. :)

I had forgotten that we don't get Seven until Part II.

There's that other two parter later in Voyager's run where several of our crew become Borg.

thing I never cared for is an "alliance" with the Borg. They're like the Daleks in that regard; they believe they don't need any help. Janeway should have been killed IMO. Overall an excellent ep. No Seven yet - that's Part II.

Saw the new #Pixar movie #Hoppers last night. IT WAS AMAZING! First off - I love Pixar, so I'm predisposed to liking their stuff, but I will say this - What is in the trailers is only a fraction of what goes on in the movie. The main plot of the thing isn't even touched on 1/2

The sophomore LP by the LA metal act WASP is next up. While it has one of my all time fav WASP tracks on it, the album as a whole is a mixed bag, leaning towards "meh" for me. Saw 'em this tour tho! My thoughts here.

Random people start appearing on Voyager, where a Voyager crew person disappears. This turns out to be a "slow takeover of Voyager". It's got a nice mystery - and a healthy dose of WTF is going on. I did like the visual effect

Hey @genxgrownup.bsky.social - been playing a bunch of this lately. You might find it amusing to know last night when my wife was making dunner she was humming the music for "you got the 5/10,000k bonus" music you get in this game.

When I questioned it, she said "That's addictive as hell!"
