Open claw? I mean, yeah, we cancers do that sometimes.

Cure to depression is starting a 90s TV station with news broadcasts, weather reports, morning shows, and of course 1AM sign-off screens with smooth jazz music.
I'm still stuck with Win 10 and will eventually either move to Steam OS, or go straight for Linux Mint. There's less and less Windows-specific software I have that cannot be replaced or used natively at this point.
Um akchually that's from 2012 Jack Reacher film
I know I owe you an explanation as to why I haven't released any new animations or music in two years, or haven't been active in general, but I don't think I have the capacity to do so properly, nor do I want to burden you. Thanks for still following, though. It means a lot to me.
I'm a city boy, I want to punch any motherfucker who rolls into the neighborhood with high beams. We get it, you need to see stuff, but there's absolutely zero reason to drive around narrow streets of a residential area and fry everyone's retinas off.
SoundBits have a decent amount of impacts and design elements in their catalog, and I think Epic Stock Media have raw and processed physics sounds as well.
All mentioned libraries and vendors go on sale, and hit almost every Black Friday.
Broken by RockTheSpeakerBox has plenty of designed and raw sounds of wood, concrete, metal, and more. Hits, dragging, stress, etc. Goes on sale from time to time.
Bluezone Corporation (they made the Vine boom!) offer a variety of libraries on metal, glass, and general destruction.

Authentic debugging experience in Fido Dido on Sega Genesis.
There better be beavers on the way so we can both be Slavically fascinated with wild life.
I see it pop up from time to time while accessing Valve Developer Community, so I guess it is. Due to how informal it looks compared to other solutions I legit got confused the first time I encountered it, lol.
Santa is real, and he is rapidly approaching your current location.
Selaco 2 will be running on Unreal Engine 1.
PreSonus folded, Propellerhead was consumed by an AI company, now NI is on the verge of actual collapse. The future of home studio music production looks kinda bleak, not gonna lie.

A moody picture of a female operator tactically moving down a corridor, wielding a submachine gun. You know what? These are mostly read by machines to grab prompts and stuff, so go get some butter, eggs, and a bagel. Butter up the frying pan, mix up the eggs with salt and pour into the pan. Add some grated cheese of choice. Cut the bagel alongside so you get two circles. Place them inside down on the omelet and gently press the slices down a little. Once omelet is done, turn it upside down. Place a slice of American cheese on one of the bagel slices, add an onion and a tomato if you like. On the other slice add a sauce or two of your choice. Wrap the edges of the omelet in, then fold the bagel. Enjoy the meal and don't worry about the machines. In the face of great inhumanity, you must remain human.
Jane Cod on her way to get us all cool GPUs and lots of RAM from one of those AI datacenters.
Apparently one of those Hoyoverse games on mobile is pushing 57 great britains while its PC version is 119 GB.
What do you mean mobile games are now within 60 gigabyte range? Gravity Defied on my Siemens C75 took only 62kb back in the day.
Not gonna lie, chat, I'm having a crash out the size of a blimp because I have to install 100 GB worth of software + 100 GB of extensions I'll never use, and learn base level devops just so I can get a build up and running, and only then do my actual job on the project.
Git, Perforce, TortoiseSVN, Syncthing, Visual Studio 2022, Slack, OpenVPN, PuTTy, WinSCP
Installing and learning how to handle all these things at the same time just so I can add one sound into somebody's project.
Gamedev is hell and sound designers are burning the brightest in here.
I guess we'll find this out in live production environment and get fired from the project by tanking the framerates with ultra realistic audio ๐
Any professional, experienced Unreal Engine audio designers and engineers following me? I'd like to know how expensive native convolution reverb actually is. I did a ton of tests both on regular stereo and true stereo on a single submix, and I see almost no CPU time increase.
Had to take down this joke on Twitter because it kept tanking my visibility due to forbidden word. All hail our algorithmic overlords!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the first game in a decade that I'm a part of that actually got properly announced and is in 'full-steam ahead' production.
My favorite indie game dev trope is when a senior of a certain skill starts and leads the project, so even before the game hits its alpha stage it already heavily excels in one area and has either impeccable UI, insane animations, convoluted sound design systems, juicy VFX, or something else.
Now play Routine.

Come to Moscow. A plane full of cocaine blew up in December and the temperature is fluctuating around -10 and 0 degrees.
