Pan-fried used to be my preference, but I've become a convert to oven dogs. Bake em with french fries; toss the buns in for the last few minutes to toast. No extra cookware. Peak efficiency.
Related note: Just discovered /r/Oatmeal. Apparently there's more to life that brown sugar, milk and fruit. π€― www.reddit.com/r/Oatmeal/
If anyone knows how to make oatmeal in a rice cooker without leaving gelatinous starchy goo all over the lid, vents, seals, and countertop, I'm listening. ~~ Our old manual cooker was notorious for crime scene-like messes. Our new electronic Japanese machine is better, but still requires cleanup.

Tonight, they graduate to Level 3. πΎπΎπ§©
Screenshot of an 8x8 Knight's Tour solution.
Dang! 8x8 solved: Make outer laps until the path cuts inward, turn sharp, make laps to fill remaining outer spaces, then fill in what's left of the middle which is basically a 4x4. Why was that so easy when I struggle with the 6x6 and 7x7? (c/o knightstourchallenge.com/play)
Logitech POP Keys might fit the bill without being silly expensive as snazzy mechanical keyboards can sometimes get. www.logitech.com/en-ca/shop/p...
Had a feeling things were about to get screwy at the pumps, so I filled up yesterday. Glad that I did. Interrupter clause activated: Gasoline +8.9c, and diesel +7.7c at midnight. πͺπ₯β½πΈ
It has apologized again, but told me that it understands the rules this time. Surprise! It does not. We were good until move 16, and now it's gone off the rails again--outside the 6x6 board. No computations. It's poorly pattern matching a known 8x8 solution. Nothing "intelligent" about it. π€·π€¬π€
Still waiting. It's been a good 5-10 minutes. My laptop's cooling fan has been spinning at full throttle, and my system says that the AI engine is chewing up nearly 100% of CPU power and 11% of all available memory, so clearly it's doing //something//, but it won't talk to me anymore. ...oh, wait! π§΅
Third time, I called the AI "dumbass", told it the "f-ing rules", and demanded a "g-d valid solution". The prompt is spinning... It's been a few minutes... No answer. Did I hurt it's feelings? I think it's giving me the silent treatment.π§΅
Second time, it gave me a "solution" in 36 moves (all unique squares); however, it chose to ignore the 6x6 board and provided moves outside that range. The AI did fine until the halfway mark, but got stuck, and then made the rest up (er...lied?!). I called the AI out. It apologized again. π§΅
First time, it gave me a "solution" in 52 moves (several repeated), ignoring the basic rule that a knight can only visit each square once. I called the AI out. It apologized. π§΅
I'm experimenting with Ollama and Phi3-mini model (because I have only a modest laptop without a discrete GPU), and asked it to solve a Knight's Tour -- 6x6 chess board, 36 moves, visit each square only once. π§΅
Is there a career field based on arguing with AI chatbots to call out their hallucinations and errors? The more berating, the higher one's salary. π€¬π€
A 4lb chihuahua I know spent all day yesterday lounging on a warm pillow in the sun. And then this morning's pee outing arrived...What the f*** is this?! Oh, hell no!
As it appears to be your thing, I can't help but ask: What's the most absurd advent calendar you've encountered? ~~ If only it was an entire can of soup behind each door, and not merely daily recipes... Missed opportunity there, imho!
Minus the carpet, that's just about how my wife would describe the baked bean misadventure.
Close up of the operator carriage of a Lego excavator with a female minifig at the controls. A construction worker minifig with a jackhammer and site supervisor minifig with blueprints are standing to the right of the excavator.

I raise your hot sauce and mustard with a tub of reheated baked beans steaming hot from the microwave: As if in slow motion, the container gave way, flipped over, dumped its contents on the floor, inside a cabinet, splattered an adjacent wall, and finally settled in cracks between the floorboards. π«
Randomly got the theme to OWL/TV stuck in my head. I only remember some of the words, but that hasn't stopped it from playing over and over and over and over...like a record that's skipping. Make it stop! πΆβΏβΏβΏβΏπ€―
Partially built Lego construction kit, two tubs of parts, and an open book of instructions.
π·π§ Halfway there...

Lego pieces in two containers and associated instruction book opened to one of the first few pages. The right page illustrates the assembly of a construction worker minifig.

She has good taste in video games.
Went in search of used CDs. Came home empty-handed and smelling of musty basement instead. -- FWIW, of our four stops, only the local SPCA Thrift Store seemed to care about keeping a tidy, orderly shop.
Your heart-health answer is a well-balanced adult/senior chihuahua. Forget the stereotypes; socialize and treat them like a big dog in a tiny package. You'll have the most loyal, loving pup ever. Enjoys a stroll outdoors, but can be tired out with vigorous indoor play. Bonus: pee pad (or litter box)
What I'd give for a 16" wide built-in or 15" tall countertop dishwasher...neither of which appears to exist. πΏ Many curses and a pox upon my late-80s, custom-built, non-standard kitchen cabinets!

Nope. Not today. πΎ
