I don't think I could engage in that "pretend to be an A-I" site because I would get decision paralysis on putting extreme amounts of effort into my response (especially if asked for art), or trying to commit to the bit of being extremely wrong.

argh oh man you know what this reminds me of, there was this site where you could send letters out and they'd arrive to a random receiver, "space letters" or something. It was blue and orange schemed. It lead to a lot of sweet "hey you will make it, you got this" supportive messages.

I loved how stylish the character intros were with the on-screen text. I only ever watched the first season though, wasn't sure I was captured enough by it for the second when plot beats felt pretty resolved.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Unfortunately, right-wingers have been saying this exact thing about leftists for years, because they are liars that get caught lying. So I'm not sure how to specifically distinguish the inherent problem of their ideology besides, say, calling them toddlers.

What if, perhaps, the notion of the Left and Right Wing is the wrong mindset to hold, because it legitimises "the Right" and puts them equal to "the Left" - where "the Right" is actually an ideology of sociopathic egotists that put their own vibe reads over literal reality, and always has been.

This is also frankly why people get so incensed about Mastodon - the idea of manually maintaining interconnections is too scary, everyone wants a system (be it retweets or an algorithmic feed) to handle discoverability for them.
