This does a great job describing how employees throughout the agency feel. It’s very telling to see the consistencies across the various sources quoted. We all know her replacement may not be better. But we certainly aren’t sorry to see her go.

Kristi Noem is gone. Good, but it’s the bare minimum. Two American citizens killed by federal agents in Minneapolis. Court orders violated. FEMA gutted. Firing her doesn’t fix all of that, but it’s a start.
