Which is bad because it has delayed my getting home to watch Star Trek
Got so distracted tweeting about Star Trek that I rode the wrong Metro line two stops past the point I needed to change lines

Star Trek The Magicians has to have at least one character who only makes it into Starfleet as an NCO after washing out of the academy and maybe an ambiguously gay semi-villain and a sympathetic terrorist and oops that’s DS9 isn’t it

Another manifestation of how HHS policies have led to fewer awards and less science.

Bigger problem is they ran through plot ideas at a rate of five pre-Disco episodes per episode but it wouldn’t have grated so much
Genuinely don’t know what Trek you mean but like most of Disco’s canon and many of its character issues resolve if you don’t make it a prequel with Spock’s secret sister
Just like make it the future where you NEED a new FTL tech and the Klingons look weird and Vulcans and Romulans are friends
