ELECTIONS Trump asks why US can't use nukes: MSNBC PUBLISHED WED, AUG 3 2016 8:05 AM EDT UPDATED WED, AUG 3 2016 3:01 PM EDT Matthew J. Belvedere @MATT_BELVEDERE WATCH LIVE VIDEO 1:20 Trump reportedly asks why US can't use nukes: MSNBC
Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee. "Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.
I will just say it out loud:
I am very concerned Trump will use a tactical nuclear weapon in his quest for a quick victory over Iran.
I am reminded of the story from 2016, when Trump reportedly asked three times in a single briefing why nuclear weapons couldnβt be used:
A digitally drawn homage to the George Herriman comic strip Krazy Kat. Starting left of frame we see yellow Ignatz Mouse having just thrown a brick which is sailing across the center of the frame and in another instant will bash the oblivious Krazy Kat (a blue bipedal cartoon cat wearing a red scarf) in the back of the head as he walks innocently to the right. Everything is drawn in rough black pen and colored in pale washes. A speech bubble from Ignatz reads βMaybe it willβ¦β, the word βHappenβ appears in the whooshing trail of the sailing brick, and a final speech bubble belonging to the Kat reads ββ¦Todayβ.
Iβm pretty sure that, yes, hydrocarbons get more expensive (and I think that includes coal), but electricity, the actual useful thing largely produced BY the hydrocarbons, is cheaper when produced by renewables like solar and wind.
Yeah, that's where I was going with that. I love Chloe Zao (The Eternals is my Spirit, I guess), but he in any way could profit, I can't give that show my eyeballs even if it's on a service I already pay for.
Yeah, if this is his way of sneaking back in, then, sorry, no.
And now that you mention it, what about Buffy? Does he own or get any $ with the new series?
Donβt let the door hit you on the way out, Kristi Noem.
For a regime that insisted on renaming the Department of Defense the Department of War, and a new and cocky Secretary of War who canβt stop lecturing about lethality and maintaining a warrior ethos, these guys are surprisingly afraid to call a war a war.
M is for maybe this starts with an m N is for next letter, and that one's an n E is for easy, like spelling this word M is for magpie, the stealingest bird O is for only three more letters to go N is for nearly there, you mnemonic pro I is for imminent, this poem's end C is for congratulations, my spellingwell friend

Yes- I loved 3-D Man.
Whoa, finally an actual use for LinkedIn. Going to the garbage site nowβ¦
Raja is an absolutely terrible choice folks.
But Iβll always be a bit sad they didnβt go with the Kirby tone. I get why not, but God that would have been fun. 2/2
I read the Kirby Eternals a few years back, in preparation for the movie, for the first time since they first came out, when I HATED them. Now? Sweet Jesus, theyβre inspired melodrama. I LOVE movie (my favorite MCU rewatch), 1/2
Also, Iβm totally using βJethro Crackerbarrel.β π€£
Hate, hate, hated it at the time, but with the distance of time, I can totally appreciate the camp of it all.
Because of course he did. π€π
And IIRC, this was in the early days of βPeter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Manβ which was to be the more βgroundedβ of the titles. So, super-hero Javelina Man? π
Wasnβt this in the 70βs, during the extremely strange CB radio βcrazeβ? And he has a space-faring 18-wheeler semi-trailer?

Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
Umm, well now Iβm wondering.
