So I made my 7th Guild Wars 2 legendary the other day, the aquabreather. Went for it because I'm terrible about updating my characters' ABs (one still had the green one from the karma merchant in Cursed Shore) and had no idea how it would look.
Turns out, it gives you fins!
I'm just picturing Elrond being so hard up for cash that he's renting space to hobbits and (ugh!) dwarves.
Russell Wilson might be available too.
Hi, I submitted a request for a key via Lurkit a few weeks ago, as per a post you made suggesting it, and it still says "Request Sent." Are you still processing those?
Yikes
I think my nephew regrets coercing me into joining his fantasy hockey league.
It's a Friday night upload for Talking Trailers #6, where we talk about the cutest mouse adventure game you've ever seen! youtu.be/sP1uRmhYhcc
I once did a video tracing the etymology of the names of the 12 Dungeons & Dragons classes. My favorite was "druid," which comes from "deru," meaning "tree" and "wid," meaning "to know" (also where the first part of "wizard" comes from). So a "deruwid," or "druid" is a "tree-knower"!
Hit 6000 gold in Guild Wars 2 last night -- thanks in large part to getting a permanent contract in a BL Chest last year that I sold for 5000.
Now I can finally spend to complete my legendary aquabreather!
If it happened today, we'd be questioning the authenticity of the Randy Johnson dove kill.

As a former magazine editor, I can say that we loved letters to the editor because they were free content.
Supermansplaining
My best guess would be Mass Effect, circa 2007.
A corollary of "good people struggle, evil people don't care" is how you can have a group of 9 people ready to do something on time and the 10th is late and holds everyone else up and is oblivious to it.
Yet another reason to feel old, when I got a new Dragon, the first think I looked for was What's New?

Do you use paid resources (Ancestry, Newspapers dot com) or do you find your info via free sites? I've always done the latter but rarely find clippings like yours and am always tempted to sub.
(Or maybe my ancestors just didn't make the news because they weren't as, um, colorful as yours)
Discord image from Project Gorgon that just says, "Everything is back to normal. You are now clear to resume life!"
I want this for all of us
And yes, I know "up to $74/hr" means I'd probably be more likely to make $7.40/hr
Almost tempted to apply just so I can speed up the downfall of AI by helping bankrupt this company paying these kinds of wages.

This feels like when you're asking someone at work to have something by "Friday at 5:00" and they say something like "I can totally get that done as quickly as possible" and you go, "So, Friday at 5?" and they go "I will absolutely get that done when it needs to get done" and you go ....
Who would have thought that "We'll make our restaurants less comfortable for customers!" wasn't a winning strategy?
The local Barnes & Noble and Starbucks also stopped offering comfy chairs. I go to them less often now.
Great job, Wendy's! www.msn.com/en-us/money/...

Third pic: Another employee and I did a "live game" of Star Trek CCG in the office, where our moves were transcribed and written on our forums, one by one. We've come a long way since that.
Fourth pic: Me judging a match between Kathy McCracken and @drheimlich.bsky.social at STCCG Worlds '97.
First pic: We all got professional photos to go with our profiles on the website, and in mine they asked me to take a fan and pretend like I was styling my hair.
Second pic: At 1997 Star Wars CCG worlds, getting cozy with the bikini Leia standee we had.
Forgot to mention it, but yesterday was my 30th anniversary of starting at Decipher: February 12, 1996. (I'm unnaturally good at remembering dates.)
Here are a few pics from those long-gone days. AMA.
