It doesn't support m3u bookmarking, but I am building a foundational platform which should reduce barriers of people using faircamp and also introduce the idea of cross ecosystem archival enabled by standardized streaming primitives
If the norm was to self host music, "wishlisting" could be protocolized. Site hosters could publish a manifest of their multimedia contents which can be bookmarked by other ecosystems.
This is already accomplishable via m3u playlists.
