CULTURE TRENDS SNAP beneficiaries threaten to ransack stores over government shutdown One mother claims taxpayers must feed her children as SNAP benefits face cuts By Alba Cuebas-Fantauzzi β’ Fox News Published October 31, 2025 2:16pm EDT
So there were some AI-generated videos that purported to show Black women ranting about SNAP benefits, and... Fox News is reporting on this like these are real people. They're not! They're AI!
This is truly insane. Total unreality. www.foxnews.com/media/snap-b...
Screenshot of a Boston Globe piece: βMany have pointed out the tragic irony of Kirk being killed with a gun when he was so adamant about protecting the Second Amendment that he believed a certain number of gun deaths was a price worth paying to have unfettered access to guns. I've been struck more by the idea of Kirk being assassinated for his ideas just as the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated for his. King was murdered because he advocated for civil rights for all Americans. And yet Kirk belittled and demeaned King, blaming him for causing the nation's ongoing racial divide, a viewpoint which struck me as off the wall. Martin Luther King Jr. believed in the moral power and authority of nonviolent resistance. And, here's the irony: King would have been the last person to take pleasure from or celebrate the murder of Charlie Kirk.β

If youβre just learning more about ICE Air, here are the basics:
-Commercial charters do domestic shuffle and intl removal flights. Mostly Global X but also Avelo, Eastern Air Express, and Omni.
-Private jet charters do removals to Africa, inc. third-country
-Coast Guard does domestic shuffles

Hey, Iβm Jordan :)
I help you figure out AI so you can decide whether itβs worth your time.
Not just updating you on the latest toolsβbut giving you a framework to actually use them in a way that fits your life.
AI that works for you, not the other way around.
Because you can write that email yourself.
And either way, youβre still responsible for what happens once you send it.
Iβm not saying you should never use another AI tool ever again.
I am saying that you should try to learn how to do the thing yourself before reaching for an AI tool to do it for you.
(or find someone who can tell you whether that AI tool is even doing it right)
Also, how would you even know whether that ChatGPT-generated rent negotiation email is good in the first place?
Itβs not like youβve seen/written one before, or looked into how other people have successfully approached this.
Itβs easy to fall into the habit of reaching for AI every time you encounter a new obstacle, an uncomfortable situation, or something you just donβt really want to do yourself.
No, letβs be real - itβs probably because you donβt trust yourself to navigate that situation or overcome that obstacle.
I can look up market pricing for apartments like mine.
I have friends who have tried to negotiate their rent before, so I can text them to see what they did.
And I can write an email.
Donβt get me wrong, AI tools like ChatGPT can be really helpful.
I use Claude on a near-daily basis, among other AI tools.
And I did initially plan to use ChatGPT to help me negotiate my rent, because Iβve never done that before.
Butβ¦
βwait, so how did you use ChatGPT?β
I didnβt. :)
Step 4: They escalated it to the company that owns my building, and came back with a number roughly 10% lower than their initial offer, which I accepted.
...including the unit directly below mine with the same floorplan. Iβve really enjoyed living in [BUILDING] for the last two years, and would prefer to stay. Given the market conditions and available pricing for similar units, Iβd love to explore whether there is any flexibility in my renewal rate.
Step 3: I sent the following email to my buildingβs management team:
Hello [BUILDING TEAM],
Thank you for sending over the renewal information! Looking through [BUILDING] website, I noticed that similar units are being listed for 5-10% less than $[their initial renewal number]...
Step 2: I looked at my own budget and came up with the highest number that Iβd accept. I wanted to go into this knowing the point at which Iβd stop negotiating - if they didnβt budge, Iβd just move. π€·π½ββοΈ
