Few things make me feel more emotionally drained, demoralized, and gaslit than trying to navigate healthcare insurance. It shouldn’t be this way.

FWIW, YES we need a less regressive tax system. But, I don’t appreciate Weastnet’s flippant tone. Removing tax on grooming & hygiene products is a big deal. These are essential items (think tampons, toothpaste, soap) that keep people healthy and safe, and removing barriers to access is key.

Why does microfiber exist? It’s the biggest sensory nightmare. I can barely touch it without wanting to pull away and do a little shiver.
I’m sure seasonal depression will come to kick my ass at some point, but at the moment I’m really looking forward to this winter… taking a step back and chilling out for a while. Also just feeling a bit hopeful and excited for what the year may hold.
Cardigan update! Took the body off the needles last night. Next up: sleeves! Am definitely playing yarn chicken with this project.

Tonight I finished a king size quilt I’ve been working on since about May. Really since last year, but I started in earnest in May. I can finally use my kitchen table again for eating and things now that this project is done!
