Whatever I have open π
...it is also device dependent.
On my phone I just write in Notes.
On my iPad I use iAWriter.
On my Mac probably just GoogleDocs but sometimes Notion or iA or Notes or TextEdit.
I don't do any formatting or linking until Wordpress or Ghost though.

I look forward to trying to work out which one it is :D

Ha - I saw Cal speak about Flickr URL design in Miami a million years ago and it massively influenced me for years - especially on the ONS stuff.
You've got more of my stickers than me!
My friend Russell on persuading the powers that be that ministers, apparently for the first time ever, watch a ppt-style presentation in the actual Cabinet Room - leading to some excellent advice about visiting a venue before you present.

That looks spot on - thanks!

It will be on a 'burner' machine and I don't think I need to give it access to anything 'real' to do what I want.
Honestly it is getting hard to be a product person without being to talk about this stuff from experience & I can't retire yet π
This is the kind of thing I worry about I'll be honest!
So is there an *absolute* dummies guide to getting Claude Cowork & Code set up safely if you happen to have a 'spare' Mac Mini and a Pro account (if it requires Max then I am out!)?
I cannot state clearly enough how much of a dummy I am though π
I don't think we have the keys (yet) but I am going to ask the question.

Yep - my newsletter was free on Tinyletter but 3,000 subscribers means it is pretty ouchie now on Ghost!
Not free really - Ghost is great but costs if you have a large audience...same with Buttondown and Beehiv.
They all benefit from *much* better ownership though (and increasingly rich features)
I was going to take the weekend off but seeing as I didn't go on my trip I thought I'd hit the milestone of 460 to stay on track to 500 by December and 'retirement' π

Pretty much the same but I stuck with it...episode 4 which is a weird standalone episode was good fun but the rest just didn't click for me despite Sir Ben.
I am very much enjoying the new 'Midi' crossword addition to the NY Times Games - I suspect this is a real sign of old age creeping in π¨βπ¦³
I am rubbish at the full one though I do occasionally try but already so the 'Mini' every morning so this is a nice addition.

Too ill for 'lads*' trip to Belfast so have had to drop out - tried to fool myself into feeling better - packed, downloaded shows on iPad, sorted my meds...but that knackered me so much I had to admit defeat.
So I'm sat here in the new limited edition trainers I bought for the occasion π
* old men
Iβm not sure Iβm ready for that - Iβm getting used to it π
Up all night with some kind of stomach bugβ¦so of course I decided to trim my beard at 7amβ¦and subsequently take a massive chunk out of it π¬
I am now sporting a Walter White π
Big news! Congrats on that long a run though π
