Das ist wirklich abgefahren. So einen tendenziösen Artikel hätte ich in der Republik nicht erwartet.

Versteht irgendwer die Mechanismen der Plattformen? Und muss man das wirklich? Reicht es nicht die negativen Effekte zu sehen? Dem Stimmbürger reicht das meistens.

Es ist eine ziemlich glitschige Wurzel, die Du da packen willst.

Und ja, ich denke auch, dass es eine politische Mehrheit für ein Verbot gäbe. Und wenn das Problem nicht gelöst wird, kommt das früher oder später zum Tragen.

Ich finde es ein schwieriges Thema. Mein Eindruck ist aber, dass ein Verbot reflexartig zur Seite geschoben wird.

Als Alternative wird die Hoffnung postuliert, dass Plattformregulierung eine Verbesserung bringt und dass die Kompetenzen, die seit Jahren nicht auftauchen, doch noch das Problem lösen.

Ich sehe wenig Alternativen, die eine Aussicht auf Erfolg hätten.
Fragt sich natürlich, wie wir mit den gravierenden Nachteilen es Verbots umgehen und wo die Altersgrenze wäre.

Natürlich Plattformen regulieren, aber ich bin skeptisch was eine griffige (oder richtige) Regulierung betrifft.
Medienkompetenz klingt gut, aber offensichtlich führt SoMe vor allem bei den wenig kompetenten Jugendlichen zu Problemen und wie man genau die erreichen soll, sehe ich nicht.

As a historian, I'd say there is some truth in this. It is obviously very complex, but there were US inspired developments.

The Swiss parliament for example is designed after the US one.

Lucky me. If it was not for 20 years of experience, the phone would have been almost unusable.

I do not believe this was a rare coincidence. I believe that 20 years after the first commercial smartphones arrived on the market, the products are still horrible.

Opening the file in vim without swap-file (vim -n), CTRL-C while open to get an empty file, force write, wait 6h, done.

This way I've ended up with 2 empty files and then I moved the parent folder into somewhere where it won't do any harm.

* midnight-commander: negative (I've never seen a file midnight-commander could not delete; the only moment I ever use this is for removing a file, like every 5 years or so)

Guess what worked?
