A bit of retro magazines... I often like to reminisce about the old days, and reading old magazines is a great way to reconnect with my youth. I also have a bunch of Computer Shoppers to go through from the late 80s and early 90s 😄 As a little girl, I'd love to look through different magazines like these and dream about the possibilities. I still remember the first time I saw an Ultima game, or the monster in an early SimCity that was attacking the city all these years later. Reconnecting with my life is an amazing mental health Zen time for me. #RetroComputing #Magazines #RetroTech

Neurodivergence and projects I originally planned for my first real post to be about one of my many current projects. But, since I’m still gathering the 'spoons' for that deep dive, I wanted to share something a bit more personal first. As someone who is neurodivergent—living with ADHD and OCD my entire life—these traits have been both my greatest frustration and my biggest superpower. In the past, switching between interests so rapidly often meant blowing my budget before a project even got off the ground. It’s been a lifelong struggle, but recently starting ADHD medication has been truly life-changing. The best part? While things are better managed, it hasn't numbed who I am. My 'superpower' is still intact: I absolutely LOVE learning. Whether it’s 3D printing, jarrariums, Meshtastic, Ham Radio, designing a CPU, keeping chickens, designing PCBs, or home labbing—I’m still driven by that curiosity. The difference now is that I can actually focus on them instead of constantly task-switching. Maybe I’ll even finish a few! 😄 My hope for this space is to document these projects and share the things I enjoy, even if I’m just shouting into the internet void. If you’re along for the ride, thank you for joining me.
