It’s like an easy-shortcut kimchi recipe but it looks good. I halved it and used just 1 head of Napa cabbage and it made a quart. Of course I didn’t have a quart jar handy. 🙃

Making some homemade kimchi today since I’ve been enjoying the store bought stuff. I don’t really like green onions, but the chives in my garden are coming up, so I’m going to try them as a substitution.

The problem with watching all of WoT in between S3 and S4 of Witcher is I keep confusing the plot points of Ageless Lady Mages Plotting Continental Wars From Fancy Towers. I keep waiting for certain characters to show up and then remember they’re Aes Sedai. 🙃

Rewatched the live action One Piece and then watched the preview for S2 and it’s SO GOOFY but it WORKS and I think I figured out why. It’s Muppet energy. The characters are so earnest and the actors just nail it no matter how ridiculous the line or scene (or costume.) Like humans in Muppet movies.

Welp guess I’ll keep the Netflix subscription going and P+ cancelled. 😬 One Piece (live action) has S2 coming out March 10 and I’m still catching up on the latest seasons of Witcher and Wednesday, so plenty to watch!

It makes me wonder five or ten years from now what people will actually use AI for, after the novelty wears off and it’s more or less established that it’s fine as a shortcut, it’s *good enough*, but the real thing is usually better.

Maybe in the 80s someone did! Maybe it was a huge timesaver or so easy or it felt very modern! But by the time I got the book (early 2000s) it seemed weird to cook things like meatballs or a casserole in the microwave. Microwave was for TV dinners and reheating leftovers. And popcorn.

This is a really good comparison for what the AI impact on the world might become.

I bought a used Better Homes cookbook years ago and it was published in the 80s and most of the recipes have alternate microwave directions for them.

I’ve never used the microwave for any of the recipes. 🙃
