Just finished my sound redesign for expedition 33! I wanted the magic layers to sound BIG, and found that you can get a lot of good textures from Heavy compression -> space blender -> distortion.

Sounding good so far! I think an electrical hum ambience after you turn on the power would help a lot. I also think some wind would really do a lot (maybe have the intensity increase as you climb higher)

This❗❗ I miss the simplicity of devices doing one thing and have been slowly trying to reintroduce that into my life. I love how phones and computers can do everything, but sometimes I want to throw it across the room and play rune factory on my 3ds while listening to cowboy bebop on my CD player!

It's never really bothered me, but I think having fractions of a heart is better overall for UI clarity.
I would rather have 3 hearts on screen representing 6 HP than 6 hearts on screen.
