If I had to distill atproto and bsky (the protocol/architecture) into a single word, that word would be "pragmatic".

Sometimes that clashes with my more pedantic tendencies, but I respect it a lot.

Have you ever been a 3/4th-unknown online shitposter going "ahah, i know which (crack)ship I'll buy as the first RobinBoob ship ever, what a way to set the tone!" and then suddenly it's years later and you're only HALF-unknown and have to suddenly come clean about your taste in fictional characters

Below the title is a Certificate of Ownership for "Hubert von Vestra x Ferdinand von Aegir", with photos of each, and to the side Bitcoin-senpai (a blonde male jock) has pushed ETH-kun (a blushing male nerd with black hair) against a signpost for the intersection of "Bobaboard" and "Wall Street". Above them is a "Hot offer" sticker. The certificate has a translucent watermark saying "Advance copy for bragging purposes" over it.

I pushed an itty-bitty update to robinboob (robinboob.com), and it should all still be working, but if you were ever "boy, sure I wish to buy a ship to help ms boba test in production" tonight is the night (PayPal mostly, but Stripe too).

The worst part about having so much stuff to do you're effectively unable to find space for a break is that you also end up so fucking slow at everything that finding space for a break gets even harder

Very happy to be given free reign on the conference site so I can put in "the Ms Boba touch" (a.k.a. totally unnecessary bits of fun, a.k.a. what building for the internet is all about).

My favorite silly one is the way the "where the conference is" heading changes if you select remote tickets.

I was given carte blanche to add some whimsical touches to a serious event, and before I knew it I had a whole thing (thank you!)
