Oh yeah that's the original location and it's the one with a brewery. The one I was at earlier today is right by Wrigley and has no brewery just a taproom.

It's near Wrigley for sure. Maybe been here two years. Was my first time coming to this spot but the original is near where I live.

A cloudy beer in front of a large movie screen.

Moved from West Coast IPAs to this somewhat cloudy thing while we wait to watch Peaky Blinders something or another. Supposedly this is how all beer looked in 1940. Look it up.

This is a Aisle of Pine. West Coast IPA. Recipe from Brutalist Brewing Company and I guess it was brewed at the Pilot Project brewery on Milwaukee in Chicago.

If you had told me five years ago that Pilot Project would have 3 locations with one in Milwaukee I wouldn't have believed you. This is the Chicago Wrigleyville location.

Read an article/review that it was 10 and some change in NYC. I'm guessing similar in Chicago but I'm not downloading an app to find out... πŸ˜‚

Baba Yaga sandwichΒ saga Is this dangerously tasty steak sandwich worthy enough to be enjoyed by the assassinating taste of Jonathan Wick?

I studied the John Wick movies to try to learn what the infamous hitman enjoys other than shooting and stabbing things. Then I built him the perfect sandwich to pair with his glass of bourbon. This is the Baba Yaga sandwich saga.

BrewDog has been sold, and for the astounding, low, low price of $40 million. Once again, Tilray was the buyer. Increasingly the beer industry’s buyer of last resort, the erstwhile cannabis company now owns 15 breweries, most bought on the cheap.

I've got a long, niche sandwich blog post coming tomorrow. We'll see if anyone is ready for it.

A very fancy McDonald's.

A very fancy McDonald's.

This was a very beautiful McDonald's in Porto. Apparently in this district of the city they can't do much to change existing buildings so when McDonald's took over this location they kept all the fancy chandeliers and sconces.

Didn't realize until the other day that I was in Portugal when they were testing the Big Arch McDonald's burger that they've just released in the US and I didn't even try it...
