Salvaged a few shot of the Forsters Tern at Poole Park on this very gloomy morning. Not sure how but without me noticing F8 had become F13. ๐
The Little Owl on Portland at first kept one eye on me, then finally the full stare. Taken earlier this week along the East cliffs.
Waited almost 4 hours yesterday for the Glossy Ibis flock to show up on Wareham Common. Eventually they showed really well.
This Red-rumped Swallow (a scarce visitor to our shores) provided a challenge at Radipole this afternoon.
This Curlew landed an unphotographable distance away then walked slowly in my direction. Luckily over the next 45 mins it it finally arrived right in front of me. Taken at Middlebere earlier this week.
Great Spotted Woodpecker at Soldiers Road on the one sunny day earlier this week.
This male Dartford Warbler popped up briefly on the gorse at Slepe Heath yesterday, just long enough for 3 shots before he was off.
Late afternoon has usually been good to see them out feeding.๐
After about an hour this Snipe finally woke up and came out for a wander around. Taken at Middlebere yesterday morning.

Pleased and surprised to see this Kittiwake amongst the black-headed gulls at Radipole yesterday morning. They're usually only to be seen off Portland Bill.

Sitting the car at Ferrybridge yesterday morning. Dunlin just 5 metres away around the poole at the end of the car park .
Still dodging the rain and wind on Friday at Ferrybridge. Just managed to get a Med Gull preening and a distant Ringed Plover.
This Skylark at Ferrybridge dropped in close when I was watching the dunlin and joined in the feeding style.
Still weather restricted down here but managed to grab Dunlin and Turnstone shots at Ferrybridge between the downpours.
