He's written six books since then, and this one just might be his best work (though House of Leaves is a favorite of mine).

Two and a half months and 1200 pages later, I finally finished TOM’S CROSSING.
This was one of the most profound and satisfying reading experiences I’ve ever had.
Finished it and then took the dog for a walk, and almost worked myself into tears thinking about the story.
Two kids sitting on the floor reading books. A wall of books is in the background, and there's a ladder.
Since it's #WorldBookDay, here's one of my favorite pictures of my kids.
A stack of books, including BUTTER by Asako Yuzuki THE VEGETARIAN by Han Kang THE DANGERS OF SMOKING IN BED by Mariana Enriquez BUBBA AND THE COSMIC BLOOD SUCKERS by Joe R. Lansdale
Slowly wrapping up Danielewski’s latest book and getting the reading pile ready…
I’m confident the message will be received with the next letter…
That's a nice surprise!
Moving to Europe was one of the best choices I ever made. Highly recommend!
Don’t give up, Jess!
It’s weird to think that Spawn is now older than Spider-Man was when SPAWN #1 came out in 1992.
A picture of my website that says "Publish your work with confidence."
As I'm wrapping up editing a book for one of my clients, this is a great time to let writers know that I'm available to edit their work.
I'm affordable (if not, let's talk anyway), reliable, and fun to work with!

I’ve seen the name here in Poland.
Fine! You win, Ruthanna! This time.
I’m sorry. I had no idea things were so bleak over your way.
I can confirm that maple syrup is readily available in Europe.
If you haven't seen Jesse Jackson's reading of GREEN EGGS AND HAM, you're missing out on one of SNL's greatest moments.
My iPhone has Preview. That does it perfectly.
It's easy to see how ridiculously stupid the average white nationalist is, but it can't be overstated that most of these men crumble once they realize they're alone in a room with people who don't agree with them.
They've forgotten what that feels like over the past few years. We need to fix that.
I was in the shops by 6:30 this morning to get the best donuts for Tłusty Czwartek. I'm a hero for my family.
Was leaving without your children something you had to worry about there for some reason?
My daughter is watching THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and she’s enjoying all of my questions.
“Do you see the part when the diaries become vampires? Did they all become vampires at once, or did one diary get infected and then turned the rest? Do other books become vampires? If not, why only diaries?”
You need to update your photo, Will.
You won’t enjoy the new bad guys, the Secret Cabal of Respectable Overpowered Talented Unbeatable Mutants.
The cover for FIRESTARTER. The cover is a flipped version of the NIGHTBREED movie poster. If I understand it right, Phantom Press was the second publisher to get the rights to publish King's books in Poland. This is the first edition of FIRESTARTER, as published in 1992.
I've been really fascinated by the early Polish publishers of Stephen King's books post-1989 and the decisions they made.
Take, for instance, Phantom Press's choice to use NIGHTBREED poster art for the cover of FIRESTARTER.
I've been secretly hoping to stumble across the books themselves again one day.
I loved this back in the day too. I'd love to give it a re-read someday.
This still gets me!
I’m halfway through Mark Z. Danielewski’s TOM’S CROSSING.
