As a small Christmas present I have created the Image-text dataset using digitalized artworks from National Gallery of Denmark and their text descriptions in Danish/English (when available)

Love these. What reads as “lighting” is largely attributable to the different photographic designs and constraints of the period. Uncorrected aberrations, uncoated lenses w/reduced contrast and veiling flare, lower-contrast film, inconsistent lens element arrangement, glowing highlights wide open…
