I would assume so, but I want hardwood (oak or maple) that’s going to last and look good.

If I was just going with the cheapest option, I could probably get what I need for under $3k at a home improvement store.

Also, regardless of what happens for the rest of my kitchen, I have a couple awkward spaces that aren’t a standard cabinet shape that I will need to make something for, because anything custom is way out of my budget.

Someone talk me out of learning to make my own cabinets because $9k for 6 base cabinets and 4 upper cabinets seems too damn high.
(That doesn’t even include any corner cabinets or drawers.)
