I was worried that on Linux scanning/printing would be a hassle.

Nope, was just a click and done. The best experience with a scanner/printer I ever had. Compared to before where I had to install the printer's software to work with it, and get pop up ads I had to then delete.

I myself am a windows refugee that turned to linux and I'm so happy I did.

I also use the same distro, fedora! There's only one thing blocking me from ditching windows and that's a game that I play with others.

It's gotten to the point fedora is so reliable it's now boring to me as it just works!

Always remember, we have the uncanny valley for a REASON. Something back than tried to be us.

I really thought that because of easy anti cheat, Space Marines II wouldn't play on Fedora.

But it did. Compiling Vulkan shaders took some time, but the gameplay itself was fine.

Only thing the OS can't do anything about is my PC's age.

No DRM, a very good range of books to choose from, and if you want, some of the cost of the audiobook you buy goes to a local book store of your choosing to help support them. To be clear, this is MY recommendation. It's not an ad. I deeply dislike the stranglehold amazon has on....well everything. I like good service, decent prices, and no DRM. Owning what you buy shouldn't feel like a novelty.
