I remember stumbling onto DocOho's blog. Even when I disagreed with you, I found the reviews thoughtful, cogent, & worth checking out after a TV or Big Finish drop. Waiting for you to purchase the Murdock Empire & expand the Hamsterverse. *Taps watch impatiently* Congrats! Seriously good stuff.
I think it’s two…
The Hamsterverse hits its half million downloads! Five years; commentaries, Strictly’s, Book Clubs, Patreon, X-Files, friendship, laughter, madness, facts (occasionally), scandal, gossip, and a lot of people crossing paths and sharing their love. It’s been a huge adventure. Thanks for pressing play.

It’s Series 2, Episode 1 of Deep Space Nine, and so it’s time for the show to set off in a bold new direction, exploring its premise instead of simply being The Next Generation but in a shopping mall. It’s slow, but we’re utterly charmed by these people.

Mr Joe and I watch some absolute classic Davo.
It was.... excellent.
Listened on lunch. Great part 1. I recorded this episode on VHS & watched repeatedly. Was shocked Adric died and hoped it was a flesh wound 😭. Loved this first season of Peter Davison from Castrovolva to Tmeflight. I just wish they made it clearer they didn't hate each other. ❤️ Spoiler free titles.
You & Luke did a good job explaining how an intro episode could be full of interest without spoiling the reveal. This is Saward Not trying to punish jnt through story. Thank goodness BlueSky has character limits. I could go on for another 20 minutes. Good job Luke and Joe
I've been trying to catch up on the academy Award-Nominated movies. But when I listen to a pod like this it makes me just want to pull out my old blu-rays and rewatch
We discuss everything that makes this story stand out as impressively as it does, the many ways that the story is unique and why the instincts of the writer and producer were bang on.

Just two of us, I think. One more successful than the other.
I’ve got something coming out today you might nod sagely at…
Some people don’t deserve Doctor Who 😝😝😝
I was kind!
Yay - I'm back on Hamster. Not so yay - it's for the Vengeance on Varos novelisation. Torture is the word...
And because Joe loves it when I plug things, here's the link to @cutawaycomics.bsky.social online shop where you can buy many Who related audios including my Hungry Moon folk horror starring Peter Davison, Colin Baker & Louise Jameson. payhip.com/b/SrbiG
What happens when four innocent bookclubbers are trapped with the pages of a torture zone with no hope of escape...? And what will the people of Hamster think?
Happy Belated World Book Day!

So many parts I'd forgotten!
And a stunning cover! The best of any target novel?
But, how does the "extra material" here compare to Doomsday Weapon 20 years earlier?
Finished. Bring Luke back for more Jodie (except for Fugitive of the Judoon)! Bill too, I think! Joe, didn't know you liked Ryan. I thought I was the only one to LOVE the visuals more than Disney. Akinola's Dalek (& Cyberman) music is flawless. You both kept commenting on things underappreciated! ❤️
Sharon Clarke would have made an excellent companion! Glad that her loss & traveling with the Doctor pushed Ryan & Grahm together. I love this special. A loss just over a year ago makes me a bit catious of watching that image of her in the light.
Great Pod Joe & Luke
I went on holiday before I finished it and made the lads finish it for me :p
I'm just playing.
Delightful! This story was one of the few occasions where my family walked in and sat down to watch, and they really enjoyed it, too!
Seek out "The Wednesday That Wasn't" Big Finish audio if you can!
How does Uncle Terry, the avatar of trad Who, deal with a new era where he can’t rely on the cosy and the familiar?
Winner of the Paul Spragg Big Finish competition, Luke Hollands joins me to talk about a much ignored but blisteringly action packed and entertaining festive special. Ryan & Graham leave, Jack returns, Daleks on Daleks, Jodie in prison...

Spy games! What happens when the Doctor inadvertently gets involved with Philby, Burgess and Mclean - the Cambridge spies? Is this a good use of the Earth Arc?
