in middle school we had a prank in Chinese class where we threw a balsa-wood block to people as they entered the classroom… most people would drop their books to catch the block. Then our teacher, who is an actual wing chun grandmaster, came in and without hesitating punched the block out of the air

still feel like between the trailers and what shipped, it is clear that they bailed late on a darkness mechanic that would have been really bold, interesting and visually striking. Maybe I’m just bringing my own bias but my guess is it got nixed for being ‘annoying’… games need to be more annoying
