But on the plus side, the first class food and drink on here is miles better than the tea and sandwich I got on that first train... Best twenty quid Seatfrog upgrade I've ever bought!

The fun thing about @poggs.com's website is that I can see what's happening to the train I abandoned at Derby. Looks like it'll actually get into London about half an hour earlier than the Avanti West Coast service I'm on now.

Back from #wgt2025 and currently in a taxi back home. A very exhausting week, but totally worth it! Not looking forward to logging into work tomorrow morning though 😄

I've seen at least one pic of @samreich.bsky.social and @alexhorne.bsky.social hanging out before - if those two haven't spent at least one evening in the performer's bar at Edinburgh Fringe cooking up schemes together I'd be very surprised!

There are many reasons why @dropout.tv is one of my favourite streaming subscriptions - this kind of attitude towards users of the platform is one of them.

I would have preferred that to the smell of BO and farts that someone (or someones) were providing at the gig I was at tonight!

Decided to do Couch to 40k. Day 1 you buy a soucebook, and then within a couple of months you're deeply in debt and have several hundred unpainted little shooty mans.

This was one of my favourite shows from my trip to the fringe last year. London adjacent folks, would recommend!

It's another train, this time at Brussels Midi.

Oh look, another train. Third leg of the journey from Brussels to Duisburg.

This might be a bit of a slower way to travel than flying, but I also find it a lot less stressful!
