PERFECT TIDES: STATION TO STATION is a delightful (and sometimes melancholic) point-and-click game that follows Mara, a character who is on her own for the first time attending college in the city, and the experiences and messy feelings that come with that, a sequel to the also terrific original.
Hey, remember a few weeks ago when I said this game is "a keenly-observed look at young adult life/love in the early 2000s" and also "the writing is exceptional, balancing wry humor with raw emotional honesty?" No? Well, it's still true, except now the game's on sale. SUPPORT INDIE DEVS!

Badly need a break from, you know, literally everything that's happening personally and in the world, and @meredithgran.com's Station to Station is exactly what I needed. Somehow reliving the confrustion and frustration my early 20s through Mara is a balm. And the karaoke scene is a goddamn delight.
Just finished my first play-through of this game and it may have broken me.

I tried a couple years ago but didn't really have the patience for it. I think Myst has raised my fitness level

I finished Perfect Tides and Perfect Tides: Station to Station and I loved them both so much. I'd often catch myself grinning or even feeling so uncomfortable WITH Mara. Thank you @meredithgran.com for making it! Mara Whitefish means so much to me.
