Oh these are so fun!
Great pics!
Love these!
Call this a smokescreen
Considering that the spells in Legends of Rock are based on interpretation of a song's title, what spells would absolutely kick *sses?
I'll go first...
Symphony of Destruction (Megadeth)
Supermassive Black Hole (Muse)
The End (The Doors)
Army of Me (Björk)
Your turn!
Alpha version of Burgers & Booths (in English) should be available in about 1-2 months.
Interested in playtesting? Sign up for free on my website, www.bigbitegames.ca (or a paid tier, I would really appreciate it!) and stay tuned!
Bonne nouvelle!
La version Alpha de Burgers & Banquettes, le jeu phare de Big Burger Games devrait être disponible, en version française, d'ici un mois tout au plus!
Si vous êtes intéressé à tester cette version préliminaire, commentez "Je veux tester!".
The Tap in game implies that the Rockstar's smashes his Echo (ethereal version of their instrument) or break their voice screaming. It makes the songweave stronger but at a terrible cost (temp. loss of voice, must reattune with their instrument, stress gain, etc.)
The Tap, allows you to crank the volume up to eleven (I had to include that reference!) but not without a cost on the Rockstar's body and Echo (the Ethereal manifestation of their instrument used in battle).
Made some significant progress on the magic system for Legends of Rock!
Prepare yourself for a Freeform system that allows you to create almost anything and allows you to use The Tap to unleash a powerful spell that will leave marks for sure (on your enemies as well as on you!)

Thank you for being wonderful humans and making this space so special. I’m still here... just moving at a pace that lets me keep loving what I do.

I’m not disappearing. I’ll still chat, cheer, share cool stuff, and keep supporting fellow creators (aiming to back at least 3–4 crowdfunding projects this year, any more and my wallet will yell).
9/10
I want to say this clearly: I still deeply love this community. The last 4 years (wow, already!) have been incredibly supportive, generous, and inspiring. Big Burger Games exists because of you.
8/10
It also means I’ll be quieter on Bluesky. Not gone! Just posting and replying less often as I rebalance energy, health, creativity, and rediscover the concept of sleep.
7/10
That being said: my flagship game, Burgers & Booths, is coming along really nicely.
I’m still very excited about it and can’t wait to reveal more when the time is right.

What does that mean for BBG? Releases will be slower and more irregular, guided by joy instead of deadlines, calendars, and spreadsheet guilt. Less “content pipeline,” more “fun weird ideas.”
5/10
On top of that, I decided to take my life in hand and started training again. It’s been great for me, and yes, it also eats into what little spare time I had left. Supposed to return to wrestling for one last round this year.
4/10
The upside? These opportunities will let me travel around the world. I’m hoping to turn those trips into chances to visit creator friends, game stores, do some light networking, and (let’s be honest) buy way too many games.
3/10
Since the beginning of the year, I’ve had some really great business opportunities come my way. They’ll bring a significant amount of money into my pockets… but the price is time. More work leaves fewer hours to design games.
2/10
Big update time: I’m officially stepping back from trying to turn Big Burger Games into a business. TTRPG design is going back where it feels best for me: being a hobby fueled by love, curiosity, and way less stress.
A thread...

Monster Truckers TTRPG manual
Finally got my copy of Monster Truckers! A quick review coming soon!
While my head feels better, I'm still struggling to write anything. Some pieces of concepts here and there but unable to make any significant progress.
Can't wait to be able to write.
I did realize though that it's easier for me to write in french (duh!). I might write my games in french first.
A header banner with a hamburger. The words Table of Contents.
Teasing time!
A juicy bird is a showstopper. Wet brine for ever! 😊
That being said, this year I bought a fully smoked turkey. That's going to be a game changer I'm sure!
Love it! Always brine the bird!
A blank Notion screen with the words: Counter & Coffee V0.1, Working Title written at the top.
Guess I need a game that is the image of Big Burger Games.
TEASER ALERT
Oh I missed that bundle! I would have added Synaptic Protocol in there
