One says “I gotta say, that clear purple casing looks so sick.” This is a redraw I did of a comic I drew in my first year of comics! Circa 2022

3 panel comic. First panel soldiers are under fire in a jungle and one yells in the talkie talkie “we need air support! Do you copy?!” Second panel a military helicopter flies over the hills and a voice says “yeah…” Panel 3: a capybara is flying the helicopter and he says “I capy.”

Panel 1: a truck driver spills his drink while driving and exclaims, “there’s a bee in here!” Panel 2: the fuel truck he is driving careens off the road and crashes into a building with a sign out front that says “EVIL TECH COMPANY”. Panel 3: the bee walks down the road with the burning aftermath behind him. He says on a tiny flip-phone, “it’s done.”

One coworker opens a pink box of donuts and says “ooo… who brought donuts?” Another coworker, disinterested at another table, says “idk.” Panel 2: the first coworker, grabbing a donut, says, “don’t mind if I—“ and is suddenly and violently pulled up and out of frame. Panel 3: two fish are sitting in a boat, fishing. One says, “I got one!”

Legitimately afraid of the day I see this @beetlemoses.bsky.social comic and it DOESN'T make me laugh for like, five straight minutes.

Three panel cartoon First panel: ape in a zoo is painting abstract shapes on a canvas Second panel: zoo visitors say “Aww, that’s cute.” The ape is within earshot. Third panel: ape is sitting in his art studio filled with abstract paintings and a large banana sculpture. The ape is depressed, sitting at his art desk, head in hands, with a cigarette and a lowball glass of whiskey.

This comic has stuck with me since I saw it a long while ago. Just amazing.

At the start of every month I think, “I’m going to make more art and post more!” Here’s a comic to express how I feel about trying to be creative these days.
