i've never heard any other criticism besides the casting. not saying it's good or hadn't been criticized for other things, but casting bad is the only thing i've picked up through cultural osmosis

yeah, if you don't have a pro studio with good monitors a good pair of studio headphones are incredibly helpful. but it's also helpful to test your mix on phone speakers, car speakers, earbuds, etc. because that's always going to sound different and that helps discovering how to refine the mix
